Garden Cress Laddos
INGREDIENTS
- 1 CUP GARDEN CRESS SEEDS
- 1 CUP WATER
- 1 CUP MILK
- 4 TSP JAGGERY POWDER
- 2 TSP CARDAMOM SEEDS
- 2 TSP CLOVES
- 5-6 AMBROSIA CASHEW NUTS
- 6 AMBROSIA RAISINS
- 4-5 AMBROSIA ALMONDS SLICES
- 1 STRAND OF AMBROSIA SAFFRON
DIRECTIONS
- BOIL WATER
- ADD WASHED GARDEN CRESS SEEDS AND ALLOW IT TO BOIL FOR 3-4 MIN
- ADD MILK AND BOIL IT FOR 2-3 MIN.
- ADD JAGGERY POWDER AND BOIL FOR 10 MINUTES
- BOIL AND MIX WELL THE GARDEN CRESS MIXTURE
- ROAST CASHEW AND RAISINS IN 1/4 SPOON OF GHEE
- MIX THEM IN THE BOILED MIXTURE OF MILK – JAGGERY AND SEEDS
- LET THE MIXTURE THICKEN AND COOL
- MAKE BALLS OUT OF THE MIXTURE
- MAKE POWDER OF CARDAMON SEEDS AND CLOVES
- DECORATE WITH CARDAMOM CLOVE POWDER AND AMBROSIA ALMOND SLICES
